A new student of yoga needs proper guidance and principles of movement to help keep them safe and free from injury. Teaching them strong foundational skills at the very beginning will give them the confidence and ability to move through their practice at a pace that is right for them while helping them achieve muscle memory leading to good alignment and understanding of the postures.
This module will show you how to break down the postures step by step so your new students will be able to apply these principles and learn how to build on to them as their practice evolves. You as a teacher, will be able to teach them in a way that will help improve the way they move and their understanding of their bodies in relation to space. You will be able to help your students progress quickly with a deep understanding of the importance of alignment.
